The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection reports.

Feb. 7

Holiday Inn Express

321 Barrett Drive, Greenfield

Violations found: NC – leak at drain of three-compartment sink, to be corrected by Feb. 15; NC – some areas on walls in kitchen need repaired so they are smooth cleanable and non-absorbent, remodel to be done in two weeks, to be corrected by March 15; C – some spray bottles with chemicals were not labeled with common name, corrected.

Violation found: NC – provide working thermometers in all refrigerators, to be corrected by Feb. 13.
