The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection reports.

Jan. 17

Violations found: NC – some floor tiles are cracked, broken or missing, some ceiling tiles are sagging, to be corrected by Feb. 17; NC – ceiling vents and tiles have debris build up, some areas of floor have debris, to be corrected by Feb. 17; NC – gap under front entry door to be corrected by Feb. 17.

Violations found: NC, R – mold growth inside chute of ice dispenser and in ice machine, to be corrected by Jan. 22; NC – ice scoop for ice machine is stored on machine, to be corrected by Jan. 22; C, R – hand sink by food prep sink is blocked, corrected; C – establishment needs to have employee health reporting policy available, corrected.
