The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection reports.

Jan. 29

Violation found: NC, R – repair walls where cracks have formed, to be corrected by Feb. 29.

Violations found: NC, R – caulk seal between three-compartment sink and wall is deteriorated, to be corrected by Feb. 12; NC – back door is not sealed, to be corrected by Feb. 12.

Violations found: NC, R – debris and grime build-up on door of reach-in cooler under prep station, to be corrected by Feb. 13; NC, R – grease and debris build-up on wall above and around pizza ovens, on ceiling above pizza ovens to be corrected by Feb. 13.
