Harris part of DePauw’s winning ethics team
GREENCASTLE– Elizabeth Harris, New Palestine, was part of a DePauw University team that recently earned a second-place finish among 16 teams in the Central States Regional Ethics Bowl at Marian University. With its second-place win, DePauw earns a bid to the national competition held at the annual Association for Practical and Professional Ethics conference in February. DePauw’s has won a bid to nationals 13 times in the past 17 years. Ethics Bowl is an event inspired by the nationally televised “College Bowl.” It began in 1995 as an intercollegiate competition developed by faculty at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Marian University has hosted the Central States Regional Ethics Bowl since 1999.
