The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four time annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

March 1

Sugar Creek Elementary School

Violations: C — Cheese slices and sour cream too warm at 44 degrees, corrected and discarded; NC/R — Clean corners of floors and along walls, especially in dry storage area, grease trap, CO tank and around storage tank wheels, to be corrected by June 1; NC — clean ice cream freezer of food debris and residue, to be corrected by June 1; NC — back door of kitchen needs to have sweep replaced or repaired to eliminate gap, to be corrected by June 1.
