Trudy Lynn (Beaty) Gluys, 66, Greenfield, went to Heaven on April 1, 2024, as her loving family surrounded her. Trudy was born on September 27, 1957, in Greenfield, IN, to the late Max Earl and Marita Charlene (Schaekel) Beaty. She is a 1976 Greenfield Central High School graduate.
Trudy was an entrepreneur and loved owning and managing her antique store, Cozy Corner. Trudy enjoyed crafting, painting, drawing, sewing, garage-saleing, and gardening. She designed hand-made crafts for the holidays and shared them with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the beach and looking for seashells. But above all, Trudy loved being with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She will truly be missed by all. Trudy was a member of Greenfield Christian Church for many years.
Trudy is survived by her loving sons: Ryan Gluys, Jonathan (Kristin) Gluys, and Tyler (Emilie) Gluys; grandchildren: Mathew, Paris, Michael, Laila, Delaney, Ava, and Wesley Gluys; sister and caregiver, Denise (Floyd) Bonnell; and brother, Douglas Beaty.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Greenfield Christian Church, 23 North East Street, Greenfield, IN, with the service immediately following. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
