On Sunday, the IHSAA announced pairings for the Girls Volleyball State Tournament.
Sectional play begins Tuesday, Oct. 10 with sectional championship matches scheduled to be played Oct. 14. Regional tournaments take place Oct. 21. Single-game semi-states are Oct. 28 with the state finals set for Nov. 4 at Worthen Arena at Ball State University.
Greenfield-Central, Mt. Vernon and New Palestine will play in Class 4A Sectional 9 at Pendleton Heights High School. Eastern Hancock is in Class 2A Sectional 42 at Triton Central High School.
Host sites will announce their respective playing schedules this week.

M1: Richmond vs. New Palestine.
M2: Mt. Vernon (Fortville) vs. Greenfield-Central.
M3: Pendleton Heights vs. Yorktown.
M4: Muncie Central vs. Anderson.
M5: M1 winner vs. M2 winner.
M6: M3 winner vs. M4 winner.
Championship: M5 winner vs. M6 winner.
