Why are you running for office?
I have lived in Fortville my whole life, and I would like to be elected to a position that has the potential to make it a better place.
How are you qualified?
I feel like my experience from my previous term on the Fortville Town Council and redevelopment commission would add value along with the current members.
What are the most pressing issues facing Fortville?
Continuing to attract businesses/development to town of Fortville
Work with the town council, clerk-treasurer and town staff in a positive way
Make sure that the public’s input is being sought with all major decisions
How can the town responsibly handle the growth it’s experiencing?
I think the town’s growth to the south and the South Madison District project are going to be very important in the next few years. The town needs to make sure they continue to apply for all the grants and federal funds that are available. They have done a great job in the past getting these funds. The police department has also done a good job getting grants to help offset the budget.
