IAE acquires Ky., Ill. companies
MAXWELL – Indiana Automotive Equipment (IAE), a full-line sales and service company for the automotive and heavy-duty vehicle-repair industries, announced recently it is off to a strong start in 2023, with two key strategic acquisitions in Kentucky and Illinois.
In Kentucky, IAE acquired Care-Tech Automotive Equipment near Louisville. Since 1988, Care-Tech offered their customers a wide range of services and products as a full line sales and service company for the automotive and heavy-duty vehicle-repair industries. In Illinois, IAE acquired Safetylane Automotive Equipment, which operates in Chicago and key communities in the Illinois market, such as Peoria, Champaign, Springfield, and east St. Louis.
The strong reputations of both Care-Tech and Safetylane in their respective markets will allow IAE to grow its customer base in Kentucky, southern Indiana, Chicagoland, northwest Indiana, and throughout Illinois, while expanding into new markets under the IAE umbrella, according to a press release.

Chamber recruiting ambassadors for program
GREENFIELD – The Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce is recruiting now for members to become ambassadors. Chamber ambassadors is a group of volunteers that play a key role in member communication and retention. Ambassadors also promote the Chamber and help make Chamber events successful. Local nonprofit seeks corporate sponsors
GREENFIELD – A nonprofit organization is inviting businesses to become corporate sponsors.
The Talitha Koum Women’s Recovery House has a $1,000 Corporate Angel Sponsorship, which will feature business logos in quarterly newsletters and a social media post of gratitude.
