GREENFIELD
Dixie Brewer, 77, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born May 26, 1944 the daughter of James and Betty (Franklin) Moreland.
Dixie was a 1962 graduate of Greenfield High School and retired from the UPS in 1996 after 25 years of service. She had a strong faith and enjoyed eating out with her family and friends.
Dixie is survived by a son, Robert “Doug” Hicks of Indianapolis; a daughter, Dawn Hicks of Mooresville; three grandchildren, Nichole Morgan, Ryan Morgan and Nathan Morgan all of Mooresville; great grandchildren, Jaiden Morgan and Jailei Collins; siblings, Mary Ann Rhinehardt of Greenfield, Jim Moreland of Carthage and Nancy (Larry) Shrout of Knightstown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Art” Brewer.
