GREENFIELD
Anita M. Walker, age 74 of Greenfield passed away February 15, 2022, in Greenfield. She was born April 22, 1947 in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Robert M. and Evelyn (Shaw) Truitt. Prior to her retirement Anita was a Criminal Records Clerk for the Indiana State Police. After her retirement Anita enjoyed bartending.
Anita was a long-time member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. She was active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion. In her spare time Anita enjoyed old westerns, crafts and had a passion for collecting frogs.
She is survived by her children, Diane (John) Fussner, Rex (Nicki) Walker and David Walker (Shirley Michaels); grandchildren, Justin Borneman, Taylor Walker, Derick Walker and Destiny Walker; three great grandchildren; sister, Mary Dill and 7 nieces and 1 nephew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Pat Boylan, and Robert Truitt.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, February 21, 2022, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 170 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Service 7:00 pm with Pastor David Oakes officiating. Burial Will be private.
