R. Michael Low, age 68 of Greenfield passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born March 23, 1953, in Greenfield to Robert L. and Imogene (Morgan) Low. Mike was a 1971 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.

Mike continued his education and received his master’s degree in Education at Indiana University, Bloomington. Mike also played football while attending I.U. Mike’s business career started in 1981 after leaving the Indiana Public Education system. Mike received his security license in 1994. He started his insurance career at that point and left a successful independent agency in 1999 to form Forty Financial with his wife, Deby (Willis) Low. He was a successful wealth coach to many and always had his client’s best interest at heart.

Mike was an avid sports fan especially when it came to the Cream &Crimson of Indiana University. He enjoyed fitness and loved spending time on their boat. Mike was a former Rotarian and board member for the Hope House. Above all else, Mike enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Deby (Willis) Low; children, Katie (Devin) Looper, Chase (Mischon) Low, Katie (Josh) Mullins, and Eric (Lynnsey) Miller; grandchildren, Lexie, Ally, Natalie, Braylon, Cole, Clay, Kaelston, Kaisaac, Kinsley and Elliot; brother, Steve Low: and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Imogene Low and sister, Michelle.

Friends are invited to attend “Mike’s Tailgate Party,” 1:00 pm – 5:00pm, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #140, 400 East Davis Road, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. There will be no formal services so come raise a glass and share a casual day with Mike’s family.

Memorial Contributions in Mike’s honor may be made to the Hope House, 35 E. Pierson St., Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County, 715 Lincoln Street, or Greenfield Central High School Boys Basketball, 810 No. Broadway, all in Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
