GREENFIELD — Following the promotion of Brian Hartman as Greenfield’s police chief, other members of the Greenfield Police Department were promoted this week.
At the meeting of the Greenfield Board of Works on Tuesday, July 14, Capt. Chuck McMichael was promoted to deputy police chief. Lt. J.D. Fortner will become the department’s new administrative captain. Capt. Michael Schwamberger will be the road captain.
Mayor Chuck Fewell presented McMichael and Fortner with badges representing their new ranks at the meeting.
