HANCOCK COUNTY — Kellie Freeman, president of the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation Board of Trustees, received a “Commendable Board Member” Exemplary Governance Award from the Indiana School Boards Association.
She received the recognition for participating in continuous improvement and professional development activities.
Freeman is in her second term on the school board.
