GREENFIELD
GREENFIELD – I. Leonard Bright age 77, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was born in Greenfield on March 25, 1943 to James and Ella (Olvey) Bright. He attended Greenfield High School. Leonard married Eva Mae (Robbins) Bright on August 16, 1963.
He worked for Roll Coater INC. as a crane operator for 42 years before retiring in 2004. Leonard was known as a jack of all trades and enjoyed wood working and camping. He was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eva; sons, David Bright (Delsey) and Paul Bright (Tina); daughter, Teresa Rose (Paul); grandchildren, Daniel Wynne (Heather), Josh Bright, Matthew Bright and Victoria Bright; great-grandchildren, Faith, Hunter, Haleigh and Daniel IV; and niece, Linda Kuhn (Bill). He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Frances Cecil and Norma Wilson; and brother, James Bright.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church 1610 S State St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Tommy Hensley and Dr. Randall Parker will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our church. We must limit the number of guests at a time and please practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Bethel Baptist Church 1610 S State St, Greenfield, IN 46140 or envelopes will be available at the church. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com.
