GREENFIELD
Norman “Odell” McKee, age 75, of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Community Hospital North. He was born in Bradford, Arkansas on February 27, 1945 to Austin and Cora (Allen) McKee. A 1963 graduate from Hancock Central High School. Odell married Ginger (Colclazier) on June 26, 1965 at Greenfield Christian Church.
He worked for General Motors for 30 years and was a bus driver for Greenfield School for 16 years. Odell was a member of Madison Park Church of God. He enjoyed golfing, watching IU Basketball games, and going to Florida. Odell loved spending time with his family and had a fan club of grandchildren.
Odell is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ginger McKee; son, Matthew (Kim) McKee; daughter, Angie (David) Graddy; eight grandchildren, Bailey Everett, Garrett McKee, Lance McKee, Luke McKee, Madison Graddy, Austin Graddy, Logan Graddy, and Maggie Graddy; siblings, Laveme (Katherine) McKee, Reba (Max) Fraley, Anita Glentzer, and Wayne (Wendy) McKee. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amy McKee Everett; siblings, J.W. McKee, O.D. McKee, Oleda Mix, and Betty Jean.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Bill Murphy will be officiating. As a reminder, masks are required in public indoor spaces, and please practice social distancing.
