GREENFIELD — The third annual Fill a Truck, Fill a Pantry food drive takes place outside the Greenfield Walmart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.
The Riley Settergren memorial blood drive also takes place that day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Versiti collection center in the Walmart parking lot, at 1965 N. State St.
Members of the Rotary Club of Greenfield, which will be host of both events, hopes to fill all 50 blood donation spots and fill a semi-trailer full of food that day.
People are urged to bring non-perishable items to the truck, where it will later be sorted and delivered to eight different food pantries throughout Hancock County.
