Jordyn Wickard named 4-H fair queen

Jordyn Wickard will reign over the 2020 fair, which begins this weekend.

GREENFIELD — Jordyn Wickard, a nine-year 4-H member who was in the queen’s court a year ago for the county fair, won a crown of her own on Tuesday night.

Wickard, 17, was crowned queen of the 2020 4-H fair, which begins this weekend.

She is the daughter of Chris and Julia Wickard and attends Eastern Hancock High School.

Chosen as princess was Megan Long, 18, of New Palestine High School. She is the daughter of Michael and Stephanie Long.

Chosen as members of the queen’s court were Rachel Bates, 17, of New Palestine High School; Abby Elsbury, 16, of Greenfield-Central High School; and Lainey Lawrence, 17, of Eastern Hancock High School.

Ashley Swango, 18, of Greenfield-Central, was named Miss Congeniality.
