MCCORDSVILLE
Ronald F. Apple, 68, of McCordsville, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Westminster Village North. He was born April 20, 1952 in McCordsville to Charles C. “Chic” and Louise E. (Seyfferle) Apple. Ron was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and attended both Ball State University and Indiana Business School. He worked at Naval Avionics and in 2008 retired from Ft. Benjamin Harrison Finance and Accounting Center (DFAS) as a payroll clerk. Ron was a member of the Titanic International Society for over 20 years and the WHOOSIER Network – Indiana’s Dr. Who Convention and was also a Star Trek fan.
Ron is survived by his mother, Louise Apple, brother: Larry (Millie) Apple and sister: Bev (Michael) Wilson all of McCordsville as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles “Chic” Apple.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic private family services will be held at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
