The American Red Cross is hosting a number of blood drives in March in honor of Red Cross Month.
In Hancock County, those wanting to donate can visit American Family Insurance, 7924 West U.S. 52 in New Palestine, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 6.
Donors of all blood types, especially type O, are urgently needed to help ensure blood is available for patients this spring.
