Public invited to pop-up

cookie show at Crimped Crust

GREENFIELD — Crimped Crust, a local bakery, will play host to a pop-up cookie show from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at 9 S. Franklin St. Cookie lovers and the public are invited to check out the new selection of handcrafted cookies and homemade pies. Products include special Valentine’s Day sets, boxed assortments of a dozen cookies, mini pies and other sweet treats. Gluten-free options are available but limited. GREENFIELD — On the live music scene, Common Ground will play from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Feb. 1 at Snappers Bar & Grill, 1514 N. State St. A five-piece band with Nicci Carney, Shawn Rollins and Frank Luftus sharing lead vocals, the group plays pop, classic rock, country and blues. Snappers typically charges a $5 cover fee. Bradley United Methodist to

serve breakfast for soup kitchen

GREENFIELD — Bradley United Methodist Church will play host to a benefit breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 1 at the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen, 202 E. Main St. On the menu are pancakes, sausage patties, egg casserole, fruit, hot chocolate and coffee in exchange for a free-will offering. The proceeds from the event go to benefit the soup kitchen.

Winter Market offers seasonal products at county fairgrounds

GREENFIELD — The Farmers Market at the Fairgrounds will offer its Winter Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 620 Apple St. The market will feature several vendors who sell seasonal produce, meats (including beef, pork, chicken, lamb and rabbit), cheese, butter, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, soaps, lotions and craft items. Tri Kappa of Hancock County

plans wine tasting event

GREENFIELD — Tri Kappa of Hancock County presents a “Pour Your Heart Out” wine tasting event from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Bradley Hall Event Center, 2 W. Talitha Koum Women’s Recovery House offering trivia night

GREENFIELD — Talitha Koum Women’s Recovery House will sponsor a trivia night at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd. Teams of three to eight people can enjoy dinner and drinks followed by 10 rounds of Trivia. Tickets are available at the door for $25 each with a portion of each ticket going toward the winning prize. Remaining funds support the programs of the recovery house.
