GREENFIELD — A fundraiser for Indy Honor Flight will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Culver’s, 1846 N. State St., Greenfield.
Indy Honor Flight has two flights set for this spring — April 11 and May 23. At least one, for fall, will also be scheduled soon. Last year IHF flew more than 300 veterans to Washington, D.C., on their day of honor to visit the memorials and monuments. IHF is fully funded by donations and staffed 100% by unpaid volunteers.
The upcoming fundraiser helps the organization continue the mission of honoring veterans from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War for their service and sacrifice.
Brochures and applications for both veterans and guardians will be available. Culver’s will donate a percentage of its sales, and the organization will also be accepting donations. IHF volunteers and board members will be on hand to answer any questions
