The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

Dave’s Meat Market

Location: 333 S. State St., Greenfield

Type of Inspection: Routine

Violations found: C/R — incorrect date mark on ham salad and chicken salad, no dates on sub sandwiches, sanitizer in sani bucket is not at proper concentration, corrected; C — employee observed not washing hands before putting on gloves, corrected; NC/R — debris/dirt on floor behind freezer before entering sandwich making area and raw meat debris on floor in meat cutting room, other debris throughout meat cutting room, debris on lids that are stacked with clean dishes, debris on trash cans in meat cutting room, to be corrected by Aug. 9.
