Mt. Vernon preparing for annual tennis camp
Registration is now open for the 2019 Mt. Vernon tennis camp, split into two weeks starting June 3.
Anyone that will be in kindergarten through 12th grade this fall can register, with costs for kindergarten through eight grade $50 per week or $85 for both weeks, ninth through 12th grade is $75 per week or $130 for both, and each additional sibling is $45 per week or $75 for both sessions.
Week one is June 3 through June 7, from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Kindergarten through third grade goes from 1 to 2 p.m., fourth through sixth grade from 2 to 3 p.m., seventh and eighth grade from 3 to 4:15 p.m., and ninth through 12th grade will run from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. each day.

EAT sets 3rd annual football skills camp
Elite Athletic Trend has scheduled its third football skills camp, set for 11 a.m. on May 25 at Greenfield-Central High School.
Anyone from seventh through 12th grade can register to learn from former NFL players and coaches. Free food and drinks will be provided, and there will be bounce houses set up for children.

NPCFL dinner, silent auction this weekend
The New Palestine Cadet Football League is to hosting its first-ever NPCFL Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday.
The event will be at 6 p.m. at the New Palestine High School gym and will feature New Palestine legends Todd Yoder, Matt Canada, Kyle Ralph and Marv Shepler. This event is for anyone, NPCFL or community.
