GREENFIELD — Hancock County Public Library cardholders can now access the on-demand video service Kanopy on the library’s website.
The library recently announced it would add Kanopy, an online streaming platform with more than 30,000 documentaries, indie films and classic cinema, to its selection of online resources of videos, ebooks, magazines and audiobooks. Each patron will have 10 movie check-outs a month.
Terri Gorden, technical services librarian, said HCPL launched the service Thursday. Patrons can access Kanopy by going to the library’s website, clicking on online resources and then selecting the link for Kanopy. People can also access the service on an iPhone, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast, Roku and FireTV.
