Royals fall to Tigers
Eastern Hancock dropped a non-conference game Tuesday night, losing to host Triton Central, 66-54.
Landon O’Neal led the Royals with 19 points. Peyton Gray added 17. Zach Arnold scored seven, Brady Stephens had six, Skyler Schrope had three and Cole Rainbolt added two points in the loss.
The Royals drop to 9-8 on the season. They host Morristown on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Marauders lose in overtime
Mt. Vernon took to the road Tuesday night for a non-conference game at Moorseville, falling in overtime to the hosts, 54-47.
Peyton Meadors led the Marauders with 17 points. Cade Gentry added 10 in the loss.
Mt. Vernon falls to 8-8 on the season. They play next Tuesday at home against Lawrence Central at 7:30 p.m.
