A story in the Dec. 6 edition of the Daily Reporter ("Tattoo becomes key piece of evidence in car-chase trial," A1) contained an error. A jury convicted Brandon Shockley of Martinsville of two Level 6 felony counts. Shockley was found guilty of auto theft and resisting law enforcement; he was not guilty of unlawful possession of a syringe. The Daily Reporter regrets the error.
