GREENFIELD
Barbara June (Howell) Libby, 88, Greenfield, passed away on August 10, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. She was born on November 15, 1929 in Kennard to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Beeson) Howell.
Barbara worked in accounting at Winona Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1995 after 25 years of service. She was a member of Shirley Christian Church where she was an organist for several years. She volunteered at the Hancock County Library and Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her children; Beverly (Ron) Libby White, L. Steven Libby, Mark (Jessica) Libby, Marion Miller; brother, Larry Howell, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Verl Libby, whom she married on December 11, 1949, and a brother, Gene Howell.
Services will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday at Condo & St. Pierre, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, IN 46186 with Pastor Gary Sickle officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
