GREENFIELD — A local restaurant plans a fundraiser for the Hancock County Community Organizations Active in Disaster group.
A portion of the proceeds from purchases 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday will go toward the Hancock County COAD, an inter-agency group working to be prepared for natural disasters.
The mission of a COAD is to strengthen area-wide disaster coordination by promoting advocacy and planning to reduce the impact of disasters including facilitating communication, coordination, collaboration and cooperation.
