The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

Violations found: C/R — must date-mark in-house made dressing and in-house sliced lunch meats, outdated deli meats, corrected; C/R — need to have consumer advisory on menu for cooked to order steaks, to be corrected by June 1; NC/R — protect ice scoop at beverage dispenser and in bar, protect ice stored in bar area, corrected; NC/R — clean as needed containers/racks storing clean equipment/utensils, clean interiors, exteriors, handles of all refrigeration/cooler units, to be corrected by June 1.
