The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

New Palestine High School

Location: 4485 S. Victory Lane, New Palestine

J.B. Stephens Elementary School

Location: 1331 N. Blue Road, Greenfield

Type of Inspection: Routine

Tyner Pond Farm LLC

Location: 90 W. McClarnon Drive, Greenfield

Type of Inspection: Routine

Violations found: NC — need accessible thermometers in all refrigerator/freezer units, need to repair/replace sweep at back door and freezer in lot to fill gap, to be corrected by June 1.

KFC Corp.

Location: 1604 N. State St., Greenfield

Type of Inspection: Routine

Violations found: NC/R — repair/replace tiles and coving at dump and hand sink by raw chicken walk-in cooler, clean floor, walls, door and handle of raw chicken cooler, clean floors under lines, racks, etc., clean exteriors of equipment, clean doors and handles, clean walls surrounding three-compartment sink, clean drain boards, to be corrected by June 1.
