Hoosier’s memoir returns to Indiana Repertory Theatre

INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosier Alonzo Fields spent two decades as Chief Butler at the White House, serving Presidents Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower. The funny, poignant memoir “Looking Over the President’s Shoulder” returns to the Indiana Repertory Theatre by popular demand. “Looking Over the President’s Shoulder” plays at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, 140 W. Singing nuns back on stage at the Belfry Theatre

NOBLESVILLE — “Nunsense II: The Second Coming” features the return of the Sisters of Hoboken back on stage at Mt. Saint Helen’s School for a “thank you program” for their supporters. They stick with their successful formula and once again present a variety show. “Nunsense II” opens tomorrow at the Belfry, 10690 Greenfield Ave. and plays through April 22. Thornton Wilder’s classic now playing at playhouse

INDIANAPOLIS — The Buck Creek Players present “The Matchmaker” through April 8 at the Buck Creek Playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Ave. Horace Vandergelder, a wealthy merchant in 19th century Yonkers, New York, decides to take a wife and employs matchmaker Mrs. Dolly Levi, who becomes involved with two of Vandergelder’s clerks, several lovely ladies and the headwaiter at an expensive restaurant where this swift farce runs headfirst into hilarious complications.
