May 18
Wendy’s
Location: 2809 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: C – some type of equipment sitting in hand sink, corrected; C – container bottom holding tomatoes sitting directly on diced apples, corrected; NC – water not getting to 100 degrees at hand sink by three-compartment sink, to be corrected by Aug. 1.
Hardee’s
Location: 1881 N. State St., Greenfield
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: C/R – mayo, cheese, tartar sauce too warm, corrected; C – expired in-house date marked breakfast ham, corrected/discarded; C/R – sanitizer not strong enough, not dispensing correctly, mixing by hand; NC – three compartment sink needs to have wash-rinse-sanitize compartments set up correctly, to be corrected by May 18; cleaning needs to be done under drive-thru beverage dispenser, fryer floor area build up, freezer and cooler floor, biscuit & griddle coolers, trough in dining room with ketchup dispenser, etc., clean under equipment, wheels of equipment, gaskets and floors, to be corrected by Aug. 1.

Violations found: NC – utensils should be clean to sight and touch, clean and sanitize tomato corer and wall where utensils are hung, corrected.

Location: 5913 W. Broadway, McCordsville
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: C – sanitizer too strong, corrected; C/R – need to date mark potentially hazardous foods such as potato salad and hard boiled eggs when held longer than 24 hours, corrected; NC – need to have available sanitizing solution test strips, to be corrected by May 25; NC/R – clean behind floor mixer, clean floor in front of and under beer dispenser, clean as often as necessary to keep clean, to be corrected by Aug. 1.
Speedway
Location: 6025 W. Broadway, McCordsville
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: C – ants found in corner cabinet of beverage dispenser, to be corrected by June 1; NC – mop sink tile and wall has damage and limits clean-ability, repair wall, tile and coving by ice machine, to be corrected by Aug. 1; NC – floors need to be cleaned behind and under pizza hot hold unit and sandwich hot hold unit as often as necessary to keep them clean, to be corrected by Aug. 1.

Location: 1240 N. State St., Greenfield

Violations found: C/R – need to have certified food handler, to be corrected by Aug. 1; C – employees must wash their hands after handling money, touching their faces, changing tasks, etc., before putting on gloves, also before starting shift, can not blow on gloves to assist in opening them to place on hands, corrected; NC – wiping cloths need to be stored in sanitizing solution between uses, corrected; C – employee drinks must be covered and stored away form equipment and possible exposure of food, corrected.
