The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually, and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

Feb. 11

Comfort Inn

Location: 178 E. Martindale Drive, Greenfield.

Type of inspection: Routine.

Violations: NC/R—a warewashing sink cannot be used for hand washing or as a service sink, 90 days; NC—exposed wood as part of counter used to support coffee machine and juice machine, 90 days; NC/R—remodel plans not submitted to the Hancock County Health Department for approval; NC/R—hand sinks must be provided with disposable towels, 120 days.

Location: 1506 1/2 N. State St., Greenfield.

Type of inspection: Routine.
