Restaurant Inspections
The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

New Palestine High School
Location: 4485 S. Victory Lane, New Palestine
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: C — burgers/chicken sandwiches hot holding temperature is below the required 135 degrees, corrected.
Jan. 25
Jimmy John’s
Location: 1310 N. State St., Greenfield
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: NC — ice scoop must be stored in clean protected place, corrected; NC — sanitizer strips must be available for quaternary sanitizer, to be corrected by Feb. 25.
