GREENFIELD — Bart Barber, president of the Southern Baptist Convention, will be in Greenfield on Sunday ahead of the church’s national convention in Indianapolis.

About 15,000 people are expected to attend the convention this week, and pre-convention activities are already going on. Friday and today, local churches are partnering with incoming volunteers from around the country for Crossover, an evangelistic effort in local communities.

Saturday, a block party runs from 11-4 p.m. at the church and is open to all.
