GREENFIELD – Property tax bills were mailed out in early April, and the spring installment payment is due May 10.
Hancock County Treasurer Jane Klemme says new this year is a QR code on the tax bill for an easy way to pay. Payments may also be made in the mail, in–person or at a drop box. Mail payments to Hancock County Treasurer, 111 American Legion Place Suite 205, Greenfield (postmarked by due date to be considered on time). In-person payments may be made at the same location, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The 24-hour drop box is located at the front entrance of the building. Online or phone payments can be made at hancockIn.gov or by calling 877-690-3729 (jurisdiction code 2434, must have duplicate number).
