HANCOCK COUNTY — Hancock County’s residential real estate market saw an upswing in February, according to a recent press release from the F.C. Tucker Company.
Pended home sales increased 5.9% compared to this time last year in Hancock County. Available housing inventory increased 1.2% and the average sale price increased 5.2% to $345,998.
The local statistics follow a similar trend across the central Indiana region, where available housing increased 20.7% compared to February of last year. The average home sale price for the 16-county central Indiana region is $319,007, or up 4.5% compared to last year.
