GREENFIELD — Redwood Greenfield will open its doors, welcoming some of the first residents to live in the newly built apartments in March.

Announced in a press release on Jan. 30, Redwood Living, Inc, a development and property management company based out of Ohio, will welcome residents to their newest neighborhood in Indiana, located at 2982 Red Spruce Drive.

Redwood Greenfield spans 46 acres on CR East 300N just west of Beckenholdt Park. It will consist of 131 single-story apartments with the neighborhood being completed in two phases. Phase one is projected to be complete by the end of 2024 with the timeline for phase two to be announced at a later date.

With six different floor plans available, each apartment ranges from 1,294 to 1,709 square feet with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car attached garage. Prices for the apartments start at $1,999 with a deposit of $1,000, according to Redwood’s website. Leasing length can vary, ranging from six months to 15 months.

The press release noted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of Redwood developments being located throughout Indiana. Redwood also has neighborhoods throughout Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina and Kentucky with plans to add Nebraska to the list with its first neighborhood opening in 2024.

“We are thrilled to continue the momentum in Greenfield,” said Mitch Ogle, vice president of property operations at Redwood, in the press release

When at Redwood Greenfield, residents will be able to utilize living space in each layout designed to accommodate individual needs, such as a home office or home gym, personal patios, walking paths and a dog washing station, being pet friendly — allowing up to three furry friends to stay.

Each individual apartment is set to include an eat-in kitchen, open floor plans, washer and dryer hookups, full-sized appliances and have features such as vaulted ceilings, upgraded finishes and granite countertops.

Ogle said in the release that the location also provides quick access to activities located in the city and beyond.

“With a convenient location minutes from I-70 and a short drive to local shopping, dining and more, residents can enjoy the benefits of a quiet neighborhood setting while still remaining close to city amenities.”

Greg Thurman, vice president of acquisitions at Redwood, said that residents of Redwood neighborhoods appreciate that the brand’s signature single-story design and amenities create a comfortable and convenient rental experience that feels more like home.

“We are excited for Greenfield residents to discover just how different the Redwood way of living is from other apartment options in the area,” Thurman said. “They will feel that difference everywhere – from the spacious and flexible floor plan options and beautifully landscaped grounds to the best-in-class service they receive from our on-site management and maintenance teams and all the ways that Redwood makes them feel valued as members of our community.”
