Local woman releases book on loss for children

MCCORDSVILLE – A Hancock County woman recently released a children’s book.

“Daddy’s Not Gone” by Natalie Mosley Klenotic was released recently on paperback and Kindle on Amazon.

Hancock County residents Natalie and Thomas Mosley tragically made front page news in Hancock County in 1993 when Thomas, a Desert Storm veteran, died on board the USS Flint. Natalie and her 16-month-old daughter were onboard when the accident happened; they had stopped by to bring him something during his work day.

“Hannah’s daddy is now in Heaven, but her mommy shows her that her daddy is still with them and that they can always talk to him,” reads the description on the back cover. “For example, there are special animals – a cardinal, a butterfly, and a squirrel – that seem to appear next to Hannah whenever she wants to talk to her daddy. Hannah learns that Daddy’s Not Gone. He’s right there with her … just in new ways and forms.”

In 2023, the author released “See You Later, a Memoir of Life Calling Me From Beyond,” also on Amazon.
