Four local artists featured in gallery

GREENFIELD – An artists’ reception is coming up this Friday for the new “Four Members Together” exhibit at the Twenty North Gallery in downtown Greenfield.

The event is 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 12 with entertainment by Sweet Marmalade, two violinists.

Four Members Together allows viewers to explore the work of local artists Greg Gearlds, Michelle Kimberlin, Scott Lenon and Quing Shue. Gearlds is an artist whose paintings, photographic art and clayworks are all inspired by the simple idea of “what if.” Kimberlin is owner of the Hancock County Creations Arts Studio; she paints and teaches, dividing her time between yoga and art. Scott Lenon is an Indiana-based wood carver who specializes in masks of traditional Japanese drama. Quing Shue is an Indiana artist born in Shenyang, China who paints and draws.

The exhibition runs through Jan. 27 at the Twenty North Gallery, 20 N. State St., Greenfield. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. For more, visit hancockcountyarts.org.
