Eastern Hancock won its 19th volleyball match of the season with a 3-0 victory at nearby rival Knightstown Tuesday.

The Royals (19-7) beat the Panthers (4-17) by set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-18.

Kaitlyn Lowes led the Royals in kills with 11. Briar VanCamp had four service aces and 16 assists. Cami Knight had two blocks. Alana Eastridge recorded 12 digs.

Eastern Hancock travels to Lapel Thursday.

Dragons win for 24th time

The New Palestine volleyball team defeated Shelbyville 3-0 Tuesday.

The Dragons are 24-5 on the season and 3-3 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference. The final regular-season match and HHC contest is Thursday, at home, against Mt. Vernon.

Against the Golden Bears, the Dragons won by set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-12.

G-C wins in three

Greenfield-Central’s volleyball team improved to 21-7 with a three-set sweep at Anderson (0-17) Tuesday.

The Cougars won by set scores of 25-8, 25-8, 25-8

G-C’s final regular season match is Thursday at Triton Central.
