HANCOCK COUNTY – Officials with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department say a Greenfield man lost his life following a single car crash on I-70 around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Capt. Robert Harris, public information officer for the HCSD noted alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
The man has been identified as Jordan Collins, 24, Greenfield.
Officials say Collins, the only person in the vehicle, was driving recklessly, lost control of the vehicle, rolled the vehicle and crashed.
The crash occurred in the 4800 block of W-I70, reports state.
A full autopsy will be completed to determine the alcohol level and any other factors, Harris said. Collins’ family has been notified.
