Eastern Hancock’s baseball season came to an end Friday with an 11-0 loss to Hagerstown (22-7) in a Class 2A Sectional 41 semifinal game at Northeastern High School.

Eastern Hancock (10-18) had just two hits, singles from Chase Stewart and Brayden Sullivan.

Hagerstown pitchers Quaid Mull and Gavin Walter combined for 10 strikeouts.

Stewart suffered the loss on the mound. He threw 6 2/3 innings and gave up 11 hits, six earned runs, three walks and had three strikeouts.

Boys golf

G-C beat Woodmen

Greenfield-Central’s boys golf team finished its regular season on Thursday with a 169-170 victory over Greenwood High School.

Dragons lose to GC

The New Palestine boys golf team dropped its last dual match of the season, 168-189 to Greenwood Christian, Thursday.

The Dragons are back in action Tuesday at Hawk’s Tail in Greenfield for the Triton Central Invitational.
