GREENFIELD – The Hancock County Public LIbrary forgave fines totaling more than $7,800 during National Library Week.

The fine forgiveness program April 23-29 forgave fines on 2,102 items and welcomed back 215 patrons to the libraries in Greenfield and New Palestine.
