Girls troop to host rummage sale
GREENFIELD – American Heritage Girls Troop IN5954 will have its third annual Rummage Sale this weekend.
The group will raise money through the sale of furniture, tools, clothing, toys, books and more. The event is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 28 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at Calvary Christian Fellowship, 79 S. 700W., Greenfield.
Local business earns award
GREENFIELD – A Greenfield business earned the 2022 Rookie of the Year award at an annual convention.
The Patchboys of Northeast Indianapolis, owned by Greenfield residents Kevin and Sarah Peter, received the award at the Belfor Franchise Group’s annual convention for their work in managing and growing their business since its establishment in 2021. Golf scramble to benefit American Legion
GREENFIELD – A benefit golf scramble for the Dale E. Kuhn American Legion Post 119 is coming up.
The four-person golf scramble is scheduled for noon June 16 at Hawk’s Tail Golf Course in Greenfield. It’s open to the first 18 teams to register; deadline to register is May 30. Cost is $70 per person or $280 per team and includes golf, cart, range balls, a box lunch and three drink tickets. There’s a cash payout for first, second and third place.
