GREENFIELD – Regreening Greenfield will offer free tree seedlings at 9 a.m. this Saturday, April 22 at the Hancock County Courthouse Plaza. The annual giveaway is in celebration of the 151st Arbor Day; distribution will continue while supplies last. Parking is on American Legion Place.
White pine, Virginia pine, gray dogwood, pecan, black cherry, bald cypress and Shumard oak species are available. Donations are welcome; proceeds benefit Regreening Greenfield’s planting projects around the city. Maxwell Intermediate School students will assist with the distribution.
