Local family featured on “House Hunters”

NEW PALESTINE – A New Palestine family is featured on an HGTV episode of “House Hunters.”

Lauren Pucillo and her husband Lon Manley were featured earlier this month, and the episode can still be viewed online.

The couple has been married since last June and is a blended family with six kids total, ranging in age from 8 to 21. The couple viewed three New Palestine homes with realtor Leslie Foy of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. The episode, titled “Large Home for Six Kids and Eight Pets” can be viewed on YouTube TV, season 229 episode 4.

Gleaners food provided to Mt. Vernon families

FORTVILLE – Mt. Vernon families can receive food in a new drive-through pantry.

The Gleaners/MVCSC Food Bank provides a drive-through food pantry twice a month at Mt. Vernon High School, 8112 N. 200 W., Fortville. The pantry is available to Mt. Vernon district residents only.

Upcoming time slots are 4-6 p.m. March 28; 9-11 a.m. April 11; 4-6 p.m. April 25; 9-11 a.m. May 9; and 4-6 p.m. May 23. Cars should line up at Door 20 for boxes of dry, non-perishable food, meats and more. Visit mvcsc.k12.in.us/community for more information.

G-C JAG to host job fair

GREENFIELD – A community job fair will be at Greenfield-Central High School April 4.

The event is open to high school juniors and seniors from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and then open to the public from 3:30-6 p.m. The fair is hosted by Greenfield Central Jobs for America’s Graduates and will be in the Dellen Automotive Gymnasium of the school, 810 N. Broadway St., Greenfield.
