GREENFIELD – The city of Greenfield will launch its two-week program to pick up large or heavy trash items in April.
The 40th annual Heavy Pick-Up is April 15 for residents on the east side of Ind. 9; and April 22 for residents on the west side of Ind. 9. Residents wanting items hauled away must have items at the curb by 7 a.m. Trash will only be picked up inside city limits; no need to call the street department to schedule a pick-up. However, for questions residents can call 317-325-1680. The program does not include apartment complexes, businesses, churches or alleys. Pick-up does not include household trash, limbs, tires, oil, batteries, building materials, basketball goals, or e-scrap like TVs or computer monitors.
