Easter-themed diaper drive coming up

FORTVILLE – An Easter Bunny Diaper Drive is planned for April 1 in Fortville to gather donations for a local charity.

The event, 1-3 p.m. April 1 in Memorial Park, 400 W. Church St., Fortville, is sponsored by Holmes Family Insurance and includes a free picture with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg goodie bag. Participants are encouraged to bring a donation of diapers that will go to Hancock County families in need, through The Villages of Hancock County.

Blood drive in downtown Greenfield Saturday

GREENFIELD – A Versiti Blood Center blood drive will be at Wooden Bear Brewing this Saturday, March 25. The event is 12:35-4 p.m. at 21 W. North St., Greenfield. The business will also host blood drives May 27, July 29, Sept. 30 and Nov. 25. For more or to sign up, visit versiti.org/in.

Bowling fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics

GREENFIELD – A night of bowling will benefit Special Olympics of Hancock County.

The second annual Noah Glover Memorial Scotch Doubles Bowling Fundraiser will be at 5 p.m. April 22 at Strike Force Lanes, 1539 W. Main St., Greenfield. Teams of two bowlers will take alternate shots throughout the game. For updates, visit facebook.com/soinhancockcounty.

Donut fundraiser set for soup kitchen

GREENFIELD – An order of donuts will help raise money for the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen in an upcoming event.

Jack’s Donuts in Greenfield is hosting a dine-to-donate event for the downtown Greenfield soup kitchen. Stop in from 8-11 a.m. March 25 at Jack’s Donuts, 1522 N. State St., Greenfield. A portion of sales will benefit KBMSK.
